Associate Research Scientist
Sharon was born and raised in Israel. She received her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from Tel-Aviv University. Immediately after she continued to the direct Ph.D program at Tel-Aviv university under the supervision of Prof. Tal Dvir. Throughout her PhD, Sharon designed numerous novel biomaterials mimicking different aspects of the heart and demonstrated their capability to promote the assembly of functional cardiac patches with native-like properties. Now, in her postdoctoral research in our lab, she is working on developing optogenetic systems to regulate cardiac cell behavior.
