Sue is the "Captain" of the GVN lab - from maintaining a bazillion animal protocols to lending a sympathetic ear in times of crisis to enforcing fire safety rules with vigor—her problem solving skills know no bounds. If it’s broken, she will fix it. If it’s on her post-it, it will happen.
She’s a lifetime New Yorker with a photographic memory of virtually any intersection, that has that one restaurant you wanted to go to, that one time. While she’s always busy running from meeting to meeting and reminding you of that meeting that you’re late to, she can always be found at lunch time eating ‘something...delicious’.
Sue completed her Undergraduate degree at St John’s University, Queens and Masters degree at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, Brooklyn. She is also a co-founder of Xylyx (xylyxbio.com).
