Keith Yeager

Research Engineer

Keith Yeager is a design engineer with expertise derived from design and prototyping of well over 100 devices spanning a range of technologies: including bioreactors for tissue engineering, imaging systems, diagnostic devices, surgical instruments, and custom instrumentation for research labs.  Keith is an enthusiastic problem solver with extensive applied experience with machining, 3D printing, printed circuit boards, thermoforming, laser cutting, injection molding, and other fabrication processes.   He received a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union and for the past nine years, he has been the go-to guy for design and prototyping needs in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University.  After several years of collaborating with the Lab for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering, Keith has finally become an official member of the lab and continues to work with the team on developing some really cool technologies.
