Sebastian Rojas Abregu

Sebastian is an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. He works with Dr. Idit Goldfracht on engineered cardiac tissue models to study ischemia–reperfusion injury and evaluate potential therapeutic approaches. He is particularly interested in cardiovascular tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and the use of human stem cell-derived models to better understand and treat heart disease.
