James C. Hunt

Masters Student

James is a Biomedical Engineering Master's student who joined the lab in Fall 2026. He is currently working with Naveed to develop multi-organ chip systems to study the effects of spaceflight stressors, namely radiation, on tissue health. He earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he previously worked with Dr. Elizabeth Blaber and NASA collaborators on spaceflight-centered multi-organ chip systems. In his free time, James loves to spend time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing, as well as playing music.
