Elizabeth Cordoves

MD/PhD Student

Elizabeth is a native of Miami, FL. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard College, where she studied (and became deeply excited about) heart valve tissue engineering in the lab of Prof. Kit Parker.

Elizabeth is thrilled to carry out her current research in this same field, as she studies the development of tissue-engineered heart valve replacements for young patients with congenital valve disease. Elizabeth's PhD is jointly mentored by Dr. David Kalfa.

Outside of lab, Elizabeth is an avid fan of food, architecture, and 70s music.
