Connie Chen

Research Assistant

I am from Brooklyn, NY and attended the University of Chicago, where I received a BA in Germanic Studies. I worked at the Molecular Oncology Laboratory at UChicago's Department of Orthopedic Surgery where I developed a project looking into the effect of Tet2 mutation on the osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. I currently work with the organs-on-a-chip team. Outside of lab, I enjoy baking, taking hip hop dance classes, and volunteering as an EMT.
